Dolly Buster is a Czech-German former adult actress, filmmaker and author, born on October 23, 1969 in Prague. She made her name in German-language and European productions, then reinvented herself as a director, producer, actress and writer.
Career
Over her career she starred in more than a hundred European X-rated films. She then turned to writing, and her crime novels follow a German porn star turned amateur detective.
She also became a familiar face beyond the industry. She took part in the German edition of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and, in 2004, ran for a seat in the European Parliament for a small Czech party, which collected 0.71% of the vote.
Awards and recognition
Dolly Buster won several Venus Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement award in 2000 and a Special Jury Award in 2003. In 2009 she was voted Germany’s “hottest porn star”.
Life today
She lives in Wesel, Germany, with her husband. Outside of writing and directing she paints and draws, and she once took life-drawing classes at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
