August Ames (real name Mercedes Grabowski) was born August 23, 1994 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. She entered the industry in 2013 and went on to appear in more than 250 films, including a mainstream film role in 2016.
She was one of the most decorated performers of her era, winning the AVN Award for Cutest Newcomer (2015) and Most Spectacular Boobs (2017), plus an XRCO Award (2015) and a NightMoves Award (2017). She passed away in December 2017 at the age of 23, leaving behind an acclaimed body of work.
