Twistys goes back to 2001 out of Montreal, and originally it was way more about softcore glamour and artistic erotica than full hardcore, which feels almost quaint now but back then that was a whole lane of the industry. Aylo picked them up in 2011 and shifted things toward more actual hardcore boy-girl content, which honestly probably kept the brand relevant instead of letting it fade into being a nostalgia thing nobody visits anymore.
The thing they’re most known for is the Treat of the Month, running since 2005, basically crowning one performer and building interviews, photo sets, and videos around her for the whole month instead of just tossing scenes out randomly. They even started a Treat of the Year vote in 2009 so members could pick their favorite from that year’s Treats. Aidra Fox has been part of that lineup, and Natalia Starr too, both good examples of the kind of talent they put the spotlight treatment on.
It’s a good pick if you like feeling like you’re actually getting to know a performer a little instead of just watching a random clip and moving on, the Treat format does a decent job of making these girls feel like more than just a thumbnail.
